Whitby Warriors

New coach, New Season

The Warriors would like to welcome Joel Johnson as the Head Coach for the 2017 season. Joel brings a wealth of playing and coaching experience to the Warriors. Joel played his minor lacrosse in Whitby before moving on to play with the Green Gaels where he won the Founders Cup in 1998 and 2000. After his junior career finished Joel played for the Brooklin Redmen and Brooklin Merchants.

Joel was an assistant with the Warriors in 2016 and has also coached in the Whitby Minor, Edge, Team Ontario, CLAX, Oshawa Blue Knights, and Green Gaels Brooklin Redmen and Brooklin Merchants before getting into coaching.

He coached the 2016 Brooklin Merchants to the Ontario championship and a third-place finish at the Presidents Cup Junior B organizations.
